Dathen: It's a fighting game with an adventure/RPG mode. It features previous Squaresoft roleplaying game characters including many characters from Final Fantasy VII. It's a fondness for the previous games (and their characters) which hooks most people. If you like fighting games with action adventure, you'll probably like this game. As fighting goes: It's not as good as Samarai Showdown, Streetfighter, Bushido Blade, etc. As RPGs it can't compare with the storylines of previous Final Fantasys. But Square junkies have to buy 'em all. Don't we?
